"NYC's hottest club... This Bowl!" is really what the vibe is like inside with bumping club music.... honestly if you're not into loud music while dining its probably best to take your order to go. That being said, this is a great lunch concept that borrows from lunch standards like sweet greens, cava, and even chipotle.... a build your own bowl... with really premium and flavorful ingredients. They have a few standard bowls on their menu to select from, to note the Miso Salmon and the Braised Beef, I both tried and thoroughly enjoyed. Pro tip, come early or late in the lunch hour to avoid the long lines.

Like sweetgreen but elevated. I loved the space and the music, it was like stepping into a beach bar!

The food was so delicious and the chili chicken bowl was super spicy bc of the jalapeños haha. The food is definitely good and low-calorie, just a little pricey. The interior is soooo cool I liked it a lot too!

Love ThisBowl, hate how expensive it is but honestly with how high grocery prices and food in general is, it's really not bad for what you're getting. Food is soo fresh and flavorful and I feel full after without feeling bad. My bowls come to around $20, which just makes it so I come less and cook more (but when I do come it's such a treat) so win win I suppose. At times I do wish there was more protein (sometimes the pieces of salmon are kinda small and other times they're bigger?)- I feel like there's never much sashimi which annoys me. I haven't tried the other proteins so can't speak for those but the miso salmon is delishhh. I'm also not sure how much each additional topping is but somehow I end up adding another $4 to the OG between opting for miso salmon and adding a few toppings which seems kinda steep but idk? Music is super loud inside but service is always really great! Line can be super long around lunch but usually goes by pretty fast.

Best bowls. Truly lives up to the hype. I love building my own bowls and trying their various ingredient options they have. Everything is gluten and dairy free!!! But if you're celiac you can't have the nuts since they are from a facility that processes gluten. Otherwise literally can eat anything which is so exciting. The lines can get long here, especially if you're coming at popular times like after work. I will say the lines are a little slow. I try to come at off times so I can avoid waiting. The good news is that the wait for your food is really short after you order. The workers are also some of the nicest people. There is some seating, but I usually take my bowl to go. Always a treat.

Wasn't so familiar with the hype before going here and I get it. It's a cool place with an interesting menu. I got the miso salmon. Solid amount of food. The avocado was a nice addition, as were the nuts. Salmon was nicely cooked and flavorful and the brown rice went well with the ingredients on top. Really nice packaging and spoon/chopsticks. I will say, though, that it took a little while for it to be prepared so I can't imagine going when it's super busy. I'd come back to try some of the other options if I was nearby.

Intrigued by the concept of Japanese and Australian crossover, and by the long line, but I had to wait til there was not a line out the door! I visited on a Friday at 11:30AM right before the lunch rush. There was no line and it's honestly pretty easy to order considering the size of the menu. I opted for the OG and chose salmon sashimi with sushi rice. It had kale, onion crisps, onions, avocado, seaweed and the sushi rice is all on the bottom so don't forget to mix it up! That along with a mango ginger soda was about $23, average SoHo lunch price I guess. I was a tad underwhelmed - I was hoping for a bit more but nothing stood out to me. Not to say it wasn't good, it was tasty but I'm unsure if I had the option of a poke bowl vs THISBOWL, why would I go here? I also wish there were some sides to go with! Overall decent but would not wait on line.

This Bowl loved up to the hype for me! I got the OG bowl with a base of shredded cabbage and mixed leaves. I loved that you can pick two bases! All the ingredients in the bowl were so fresh and went very nicely together. It was hearty and nourishing, yet I still felt light after. I can't wait to return and try the whole menu!

ThisBowl is like a boujee Sweetgreen. I can't even believe those words are leaving my lips, but here we are. I wanted something clean and healthy after a mediocre workout, and had been recommended this place by a few trusted sources. I walked up at 7:52pm and was shocked when I was met with a line out the door. I was even more shocked when I opened the door and felt like I had just entered a wormhole to Beverly Hills. It felt like a designer clothing store more than a restaurant: House music thumping, expensive art on the walls, and beautiful people draped in Artizia Puffers, Dover Street Market Hoodies, Arcteryx Beanies, baggy jeans paired with Jordan 4s, etc. Like who are y'all in here trying to see lmao. I, in my zip up Kirkland hoodie, got to the front and ordered the Braised Beef bowl ($17) which consisted of braised beef, kale, cucumber, sweet potato, red onion, tamari ponzu, wasabi mayo drizzle, and umami nut crunch. It's sad that $17 is essentially the market price for a good fast casual bowl these days, but such is life. It's an evil world we live in. I'm beast so I opted for double protein, but felt like I took a spinning back kick to the ribs from Jon Jones when it rang up for an extra $8. I should have told them to cancel it, but I'm really shy and insecure so I tapped that apple pay like the good little boy I am. $8 for some extra beef is NASTY WORK. In fairness, this bowl was DELICIOUS and that extra beef was a true mound of beef. The sticky rice paired so well with the beef, kale, and sweet potatoes. I mf love sticky rice. But at the end of the day, that extra $8 was just pain. Pain everywhere. Sadly, I'm a masochist so I'll 1000% be back. Just no extra beef for me anymore smh. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews
